USM Faculty First Week 2019 has ended
NOTE: Please sign up only for the events you plan to attend. Space is limited.

The Office of the Provost is excited to present the second annual Faculty First Week, as we welcome faculty back to campus for the 2019-20 academic year. In addition to first-day college, school and university meetings, we are offering a variety of professional development sessions, faculty research presentations, free headshots from our university photographer, a field trip at Lake Thoreau, a start-of-the-year block party and more.

Please register for the individual events you plan to attend so we can manage venues for presentations, order refreshments and supplies, and track participation and feedback.

Director
FGH 112
The Center for Gifted Studies brings the best PK-12 students from around the state (and further) to USM's Hattiesburg Campus for advanced learning opportunities in multiple different programs throughout the year. We see ourselves as a recruiting avenue for the entire university; talk to me about ways that your school or department can be a part of these wonderful opportunities for Mississippi's brightest young people. We also offer parenting workshops and professional development for PK-12 teachers.
