Dr. Forrest R. Parker, III

Dr. Parker is a visiting assistant professor of educational research, assessment, statistics, and evaluation at the University of Southern Mississippi. He has eight years of classroom experience where he taught students with severe emotional, behavioral, and psychological disorders through the Georgia Network of Educational and Therapeutic Supports. Dr. Parker has been honored as a teacher of the year, has worked as an educational consultant, and has worked as a teacher trainer in rural Uganda through Great Lakes University. He has been featured as an educational presenter across the Southern United States and Uganda. Dr. Parker's research agenda includes music as a behavior modification for students with disabilities. He is also interested in digital learning, assessment uses, scheduling, teacher clinical supervision, and the psychology of learning.
